The HOUSE THAT GLOWS
The house in suburban Bentleigh has an imposing brick façade made from Krause Emperor thin bricks. The façade contains a secret. The hidden feature of this split-level family home is that it changes character and glows in the evenings.
The hit and miss brickwork conceals a private terrace facing the street. A private and secure courtyard leads to the front entrance. The entrance is defined by a double-height brick wall that conceals a stairway to the upper level.
The house reveals itself passed the home office to a kitchen + dining + living zone. Bedrooms are zoned and private. Natural light and courtyard spaces enhance the interiors. The landscaped rear garden features a swimming pool.
