The project

Art deco influences were carefully considered

The client brief was modernise an existing 1980’s house to their unique requirements. Art deco influences were carefully considered internally and externally. The incredibly detailed wrought iron gates are an example of collaboration between architect and the iron monger. The ground level kitchen and living spaces were totally remodelled. The transition from living room to poolside features a 6 metre wide motorized steel framed sliding door. A bespoke art deco staircase leads to 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, children’s retreat and terrace.
